What a Long, Strange Trip it’s Been…
Say what you like but this site has been through many iterations. Believe it or not this is the second version of my site that has existed as a MySQL-based dynamically-driven site. The first was heavily developed and tested already on my home server but suffered an ignomious death when (because of an earlier burst of excessively naive trust), I couldn’t keep my domain name when I transferred providers, and had no way to post it… so it got back-burnered.
The current version uses WordPress. It’s free (requires a bit of know-how to set up.. there’s always a price.. TANSTAAFL and all that…), and very polished. Of course I added a few small features and edited not only the CSS but many of the core site pages, but that’s a story for another day……
