Family Tech Support…
Before anyone thinks I’m complaining, please keep in mind that given a choice, I like sitting down to fix computer problems. That, and my family lives far enough away that I don’t get asked to fix things constantly.
So, as the family “computer geek”, I spent an hour or so going through my dad’s family computers and networks to make sure everything was humming along. I updated Firefox, renamed their wireless network and got the remaining computers back on, reset the passwords on their routers and WAP, and changed the baseline network IP so that VPN’s and such would work smoothly with most outside networks.
All is well….
